I love vualting. It is so much fun. I call what I do "backyard vualting" out of respect for those that do "competition vualting" There isn't really anyone in my area that vualts. I had an opportunity to do some vualting with Cassie Bastian, a national junior vualting champion. I just use a surcingle and felt suede pad, that I had the amish saddle shop make. I just do what I do for pure fun. It is great for your balance. Doing some basic vualting is also a great "fun" thing to do when teaching a beginner rider balance. Maybe one day I will have an opportunity to do more.
