When you walk in the barn and hear a whinny, it is Jazz. Jazz is very affectionate and always acknowledges when you walk in the barn. If you open her stall door, she comes over and puts her head on your shoulder and fall asleep. She went to the International Hunter Futurity as both a 3 and 4 year old. She placed really well. As quiet as she is to handle in the barn, she is a wild thing in the field. She runs, bucks and plays hard. Jazz is really special, because she is out of my moms favorite mare, Vuarnet, who had to be retired early because of an injury. Jazz is a lot like her mom, she loves her job, but is very picky about who she likes and doesn't like. If she doesn't like you, she really carries on. She is also a power house like her mom. She is a very scopey jumper. I hope to ride her in equitation and the jumpers. Just like her mom, I don't think that she will ever leave our farm.
